Conditions for reservations

To make a reservation you’d have to make a money transfer of 50% of the total amount. The remaining part should be received by Quinta Cachama Negra at least 1 week before the start of your stay.
If the guest decides to stay less nights than the original reservation, he/she has to pay the total amount originally agreed.
After confirming your reservation with a 50% transfer, the reservation is fixed, and not modifiable.

We don’t accept more than the maximum occupation per room:
- Double room: 2 people, and one baby up to 4 years of age.
- Cabaña: 5 people, and one baby up to 4 years of age.
- House: 8 people, and two babies up to 4 years of age.
If the group of travelers is larger than the maximum occupation, they’d have to rent additional room(s).
Notify us as soon as possible, to see if there is any availability.
If you arrive with more than the maximum number of people without notifying, we cannot guarantee lodging for the extra people.

If the guest due to circumstances is not able to travel the agreed date, he/she has to notify Cachama Negra as soon as possible (Minimum one week before arrival)
In some cases it is possible to change the dates for a reservation, as for Cachama Negra to decide. In this case, the new reservation will be at least the same as the original one; meaning same accommodation, same amount of people, and same amount of nights. The new date shall be within three months of the original date.
For date changes the rate for the new dates will apply.
Depending on how many days ahead the guest notifies the change, additional costs may apply.
Any reservation can be transferred to other people, under the same conditions, in the same time frame, without additional costs.
Once a reservation has been modified, it cannot be modified again.

Cancellation and change of confirmed dates are subject to the following conditions:
Change a date more than 8 days before arrival: No extra cost.
Change a date 5,6,7 days before arrival: 100% of one night.
Change a date 3,4 days before arrival: 50% of the total amount.
With two days or less, you cannot change dates.
Canceling the reservation: 100% of the total amount
Not showing at the date of arrival (no-show): 100% of the total amount, and cancellation of the reservation.

One exceptional case would be an unexpected closure of the road between Maracay and Choroní, resulting in Choroní unreachable the entire programmed day.
In this case you can change the date to another, on the same day, without any extra cost. The new date shall be within three months of the original date.
